CELEBRATING THE MAULID

(BRITHDAY) OF THE PROPHET (SAW)

All praises be to Allah, the God who chose Muhammad as the chesen prophet from the Adam’s descendants. He sent Muhammad to give a good news and warning to all mankind. Whit His permission, he asked all people to Allah. He is the lamp that brightens the ways. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and i bear witness that Muhammad is His mesengger. May Allah bless our leader Muhammad, along with his companions and his followers until the end of the world. Amma Ba’bu.

            Allah said in his sacred Book : “A’udzu billahi minassyaithoonirojiim ( I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed satan)” Bismillah hirrahmaanirrohim “Laqod kaanalakum fi rasuulillahi uswatun hasanah liman kaana yarjuullaha walyaumil akhir wadzakarallaha katsiro. Shodaqallahul adhim. (QS. Al-ahzab : 21). “We have indeed in the mesengger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the final Day, and who engages much in the praise of Allah (Al-Ahzab :21).

“Dear brother Muslims who are honored by Allah”

            Actually we now live in a great month namely the month of Rabi’ul Awal. This month is the brith month of the noblest man namely our prophet Muhammad (SAW). He is the noblest man who has a perfect soul, manner and brain. The presence of him with all his excellences is aimed to be the greatest model for all mankind.

            May peace and bless be to you, O...the mesennger of Allah. May peace and bless be to you, O...the prophet of Allah, may peace and bless be to you, O...the lover of Allah, may Allah give His best reward to tou.

“Dear brother Muslims”

            The month in which the mesengger of Allah was born is the month of light, namely the light Muhammad (SAW). The Nur (light) of Muhammad had bean created before He created the prophet Adam (may Allah bless him), even before all things were created. This Nur was taken from the Nur Allah. From the Nur of Muhammad, Allah created the world. In Hadits Qudsy, Allah said : “Laulaaka laulaaka yaa Muhammad lamaa khuliqol aalam”. “If  I did not ereate you...If did no create you, O...Muhammad, I would not create this world.”

            Therefore, dear brother Muslims, among our obligatory during this month is making the month of Rabiul Awal as the month of celebration to commemoration of the brith of the noblest man. With the commemoration of the birth of the noble prophet, the Muslims will be able to get worthy lessons from the life history of prophet Muhammad an his companions. Many childern nowadays do not know anything about the life of the mesengger and his companions. Even worse, they do not have any knowledge about Islam but is name. They do not know the name of the mesengger’s companions but know very well the names of artists. They do not knows the names of mesengger companions but keep in mind very well the names of sport stars. They do not know the names of the Moslem out standing figures and heroes but know very well the names of singers and dancers. As a result, they cannot distinguish between the good and the bad, and the good people and the wicked people.

“Dear brothers and sisters”

            This is very big foolishness. The foolishness that makes the muslims in the modern era weak people. The foolishness that makes the muscles of Islam weak. Therefore celebrate the brithday of prophet Muhammad with deep thinking and contemplation hence the commemoration will awaken the heart of the Muslims and get the Muslims to get back to the guidance of the mesengger (SAW). Allah is true for His praise to his mesengger.

“Wainnaka La’ala Khuluqil Adhim”

“And thou (Standest) on an exalted standard of character”

(Al-qalam : 4)
